England (Capital Ring - Hendon Central Station to Finsbury Park) Gallery View Gallery View Slideshow England - Capital Ring - Hendon Central Station to Finsbury Park One of Transport for London`s officially designated walking routes, Capital Ring is a 78mile circular footpath around the inner perimeter of London. Parks, woodlands, towpaths, river banks and historic cemeteries can all be found along its green corridor.

This stage I completed on a lovely warm day in April 2011. At Highgate I detoured to the centre of the Village for lunch and also visited the beautiful Highgate Cemetery, the resting place of many famous people.
